What Would You Do Right Now If You Weren't Afraid?

In the book the Strangest Secret by author Earl Nightingale, it states that out of 100 people age 25 to 65 men and women.  That out of 100 men and women only 5% will make the grade of becoming successful. In his book he states that by the age of 65  only one will be rich, four will be financially independent, 41 will still be working and 54 will be broke- depending on others for life's necessities.

Wow, it makes you wonder as to why so many people fail. You begin to wonder what happen to the young on fire person that began this race did you lose them or did you just stop believing. What happen to the dreams hopes and aspirations they had starting out and why is there a large disparity between what they intended to do and what they actually accomplish.

I find it very interesting that this book was created way before I was born yet is very relevant today. It created curiosity in me that makes me wonder why do so many fail and will I be one of them? Over my life I have had the pleasure of meeting many people and if you asked them they are successful and they would be corrects as success is defined by each individual separately.  So I wond how should one measure their success? Is it through what you have mastered to put up and away for a rainy day?  Is it setting out to build a life that you can live happy and stress free? Or is the a life where you work everyday until you die and the things you may or may not have occurred along the way are left to your family?

Well, Earl Nightingale, breaks it down very simply by stating," Success is the progressive realization of a worthy idea."  Hey sounds simple enough  he was also kind enough to share Rollo May, psychiatrist who wrote " Man's Search for Himself." and he wrote "The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice- it is conformity."  Now this quote resonates with me as I know all to well the conformity and the uncomfortable feelings of wanting to stand out be different and not just follow the crowd because the crowd doesn't necessarily have a great destination.

My desire to want to stand out and be different has always been a bit of a struggle at first as many don't quite understand me and how I see life. As a child I always wanted to be able to take care of my parents. Dreams of purchasing them a big home making enough money so my parents would not have to work. I believe that every child has had this dream and or desire. Although these were my aspirations I really didn't have a clue as to how I would achieve them given my parents were very strict and there was no room for foolishness at all. The hidden message in the home was as your parents we will provide all your needs even once I began working my father pretty much told me to spend my check on whatever I wanted.

I don't recall my parents ever really talking about how to build wealth but my father always spoke of owning his own business one day and he worked at it until his death. So I went along in life thinking that I needed to keep a job and take care of my family.  It wasn't until I started to mature along the journey that my uncle needed some assistance due to having a surgical appointment and needed someone to drive him home from the hospital that the talk about financial freedom was ever discussed with me. He told me the importance of investing in stock in the company I was working for if they offered it. So, I did but without all the knowledge I purchased some stock, they sent the certificates and years later the company merged and the stock lead to nothing. Due to my ignorance and lack of knowledge to how to go about benefiting from the stock I left it and never though about it again nor can I find the certificates now.

It happens, so as I continued to mature years later other adults in my life informed me of the importance of saving money through a credit union by starting a savings account, christmas and vacation club with as little as $25 and build from there and increase as your pay increases. This was sound good advice and one that I could track from where I was in that point in my life. I was always encouraged to get an education because once you got it no one can ever take it away. As I was given this advice and I took the action steps required lead me right here before you today.

With all this epidemic stuff going on in the world and the anxious feelings that surround it sometimes it's hard to stay focus and motivated. Being a new business owner, building a team can be very challenging and frustrating at times. Especially with all the reports of time frames people will be required to work from their homes and the worry of possibly receiving a layoff letter or call during the process. I find that I worry more about those that may not have another resource as the job process has changed and I didn't really understand the struggles one goes through finding a job until I was looking for a second job. The process was grueling some days I would send out over 200 resumes with no response. That was a mess but I kept going and I had to confess to my  young people that I understand what they are talking about.

Long story short as it's almost time for me to report to work today and I'm grateful for it however, my job is what lead me to wanting to become a business owner from home.  I was tired of the stress of weather or not I was going to have a job, was there going to be layoffs, furloughs, and or possible suspensions without pay due to others perception of me and how I work.  Believe me when I say,  "if you are experiencing any anxiety, stress and or uncertainty in this time. My advice to you is to take a very good look at your finances and make your choice from there. I had to do the same exact thing in another not so long ago time in my life and I have to admit it was the best decision I have ever made.

Yes, I feel all the things that everyone else is feeling in this time however, the difference is that I have found something that will help me help others just like me. I know that there are a lot of us out here but believe me when I say there is room for you. I am doing Free Business Exposure Webinars and I am taking registrations through email at dyrtyred25@gmail.com. I am looking to help 100 people and you see as I previously stated in the beginning of the article the percentage of people that  I will probably help. And  I am up for the challenge to help others learn there business, work through the kincks and ruff patches through mentoring. However I am willing to work with those who wish to work with me.

First part of the mentoring is financial literacy as it's the foundation of your whole adventure and is the break or make factor in your success as you begin to build your business.  I am not one to sugar coat and or dress things up to make it sound and or look good. So here it is you are going to have to work for it. Yes, every step of the way. The mentorship I am offering is totally Free to all that decide to take the leap and join me in any of the business adventures I have shared with you so far.

Please note: I strongly suggest that as we work together, that you choose only one to start and grow your way to others. That's called building a funnel but we will discuss that later.

I am willing to work with the first 20 people who apply as this will provide me a gage for future mentorship as I grow my business.

I know you probably thinking why is she mentoring people for free if her business exposure is so great?  And you would be right to ask such a question. My mentorship is Free now because I know that what I will share with you is worth more and by joining me the price you will  pay to invest in  yourself as you will see will be worth way more than I could every charge just to help you navigate through and possibly avoid some of the mistakes I have made along the way and get you off to a much better start to gain your grounding in the profession. Sound's like something you may be interested in?

Now the real question is where do you fall in the group of 100 people?

As you are the most  important part of it all.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blogs and I hope that you find value out of them and would appreciate if you leave notes on what resonates best with you.

Be safe and have an amazing rest of the week.
